While visiting Vegas we took a side trip, via helicopter, to the Grand Canyon.. The tour leaves from the airport and flies over Hoover Dam then into the Canyon, landing for a brief time deep inside the Canyon, just above the Colorado River. The tour company sets up champagne and munchies, allowing folks to wander, close-by of course. It was during this time that Steve proposed to Dest (see the news archive for more on this). The tour was breath taking and the proposal made it all the more memorable!
